Lazer disc was still the best of the 3

I remember those, they were HUGE! Vinyl-sized. Try not getting a scratch on that!

Lazer Disc doesn't work with the old school, Central days, GDT mojo amendment process unfortunately.

And you couldn’t record live to LaserDisc iirc…..maybe you could to Lazer Disc though. I’m not as familiar with that one.

And you had to flip them like a vinyl.

Also, I didn’t realize that they were invented in 1963 and went into mainstream production in 1978. I came across them as a kid in the early 90’s and thought they were brand new. Also didn’t realize that they were still being used until as late as 2009.

(Yes I looked them up just now because I wanted to know more about this LaZer Disc thing that Donny was on about.)

It’s a bar setting thing Donny. I don’t pick on Cuz’s spelling because he’s an Alberta hick who spends most of his waking moments repacking a bowl between rounds of gopher hunting. Hell, he probably picks up a Heinz Ketchup can lid and throws it on his old turntable connected to rabbit ears and thinks the static on his TV is the new Star Wars movie. However, the bar is (self set by precedent) higher for you…..and as a moderator it is higher still. You have to be as good as Rats now.

(I’d hold Cornuck to the same standard, but his superpower is enhanced scurry, and I’m terrified of that shit).
