And despite the odds we have taken the high flying McDavid/Draisaitl Oilers to game 7.

It’s gonna take a special effort from every player on the team to pull this one off. Need special games from Hughes, Pettersson, Miller and Silovs. Hughes is the key, IMO. He needs to be out of this world tonight. Demand that puck.

Two downgrades - let's hope our D plays their best games ever.

At the start of the season we would have been happy to make it to Round 2 Game 7, but now it's not enough. If we lose to the Coilers It's going to suck all summer long. The boys deserve better.

I won’t be disappointed if they lose, but I’ll be mad through it (See Frozen’s analysis of the Chef). They’ve had a good post season run for the lowly expectations they’ve had put on them. All fantastic win or lose.

Thankfully we have a no-bullshit coach who won't be talking about excuses, and instead will be getting his team fired up tonight. Let's hope they respond to the biggest adversity of their careers. A win tonight would be a huge building block for the future, and will be long remembered in Canuck-lore.
