This will be the toughest one yet me thinks. Definitely will need DeSmith at his best in this one.

Van winning the special teams battles which is a surprise.

I like that Van backed off the running around chasing for splashy hits that they were doing at home. They seemed to let the Preds do all the skating and it paid off. I suspect those guys will start showing some wear as this series drags on.

I can see a future where they pair QH with someone a little tougher and spread out the puck moving a bit

See if Vancouver has come up with a few ideas on breakouts so they can generate some 5 on 5 offense and stymie the Preds forecheck.

Tocchet was pretty critical of the Canucks neutral zone play that allowed the Preds all that space which is why the shots were so lop sided.

What has happened to Hoglander? He doesn't have any energy lately

I'm smelling OT for this one - it's going to be close.

All the small Vancouver forwards have been neutered.

Garland included which surprises me.

See Marner as well. However Quinn Hughes is regarded as small, I have zero complaints of his post season game. You can still be small and still be effective in the post season - Marchand, Point, Marchessault, Kane etc.

I expect this series to go 6 or 7 games.
Preds win this one unless certain underperforming Canucks perform

The Preds need to win this game. I expect as much from them in it. The Canucks need to stem the tide, otherwise it will turn into a tsunami.

Two possible scenarios. The Preds will give us a boot licking much in the same fashion the Clark Park boys would do to innocent souls with their Dayton’s OR the Nucks win in a nail biter!

Hearing DeSmith might be injured…Silovs may get the start today….

Doesn’t matter how many they score if we score one more..

Being a Canuck fan is something not for the faint of heart…

In CD29 & Tocc we trust.

Take out the head of the snake/predator today. Don't give it a chance to come back.

Keep shutting down Forsberg & O'Reilly and we got this. 😃

Is it the Ricky/Meyers flu? I've been wondering if that would spread.
