We gave bottles of the Gretz line to clients last Christmas.
Only good reviews in return....

The 99 whiskey is about 1/4 cost of the scotch I like, so it’s a suitable substitute for me.

Nice to know, thought it was gimmicky, time for 2 fingers to use those fingers to a good cause (again) and buy a bottle.

Were you expecting complaints from recipients of Christmas generosity?

LOL - I'd love to meet the clients who complain about receiving whiskey as a gift!

....we bought up a good number of these Gretzky distillery gift packs with a couple of bottles as well as this and that in them as a change up last year due to Covid and I have a pretty solid relationship with the clients so I asked the questions to see what they thought.
...and to answer your question yes.
If the shit blew chunks I would hope the folks I have been dealing with for years would let me know.
Not interested in sugar coated acceptance.
If anything we're doing is not cutting it I expect to be informed....

If chunks blew…. And you don’t say anything you may just receive it again…
So a nice and thankful “ nah that’s horseshit “works nicely

All depends on the relationship, I would not go out of my way and say anything but if you asked me directly and wanted an honest opinion I would give it. Even though it is free honest feedback can be appreciated if it is done right, especially if you are not a whisky drinker.
