TV Shows: What are you watching?

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

It's David Lynch weird

Loaded with decent actors as well.
Is that a sci-fi/comedy... or straight sci-fi?
It's not really funny but I laugh quite a bit... probably the weed though.

Christopher Walken is in there, the big brother from stepbrothers, Jesus from big Lebowski...

I'm on ep 6 and am really digging it though. I reckon it's up your alley Doc

Amazon would have lost a small fortune on this turkey, but imagine the DEI points they collected.

^ Cool, does this mean we might see Keanu Reeves playing Nelson Mandela one day?

I don't give a shit about the racial casting of fiction.

I was however upset when Netflix cast a black actress as Cleopatra in a supposed "documentary". Even if Egypt technically is located in Africa, we know for a fact that Cleopatra was Greek, which can also be confirmed by portraits of her made when she was alive.

I can sum up my view like this:

If you are setting up a production of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare, Morgan Freeman would be a great choice.
He has the intensity, the charisma, the gravitas and projection to be an excellent Julius Caesar.

If you are making a documentary about Julius Caesar, Morgan Freeman would be a terrible choice.

Love Severance! 2nd season comes out in January

Looking forward to the next season of Silo and Slow Horses. Both are coming out soon.

I liked the Silo and will start Slow Horses based on your recommendation. Gary Oldman is good at everything he does so that bodes well

This evening the kid and I watched Red.

Timing was spot on.

Will we survive the night?
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Stumbled upon a German mini-series on Netflix that seems good.
I've only seen the first episode, but seems promising.

Slowly making my way through Homeland.

I think I'm mid season 5 or thereabouts.

Been watching Shogun.

Half way through that one.

I'll run through House of Dragon 2 next then Rings of Power 2 after that.

Then football season arrives.
