Good list.

Rubber Soul is probably my favorite Beatles record if I could get rid of four songs.

God Only Knows is a top 10 track of all time (in spite of the sleigh bells). Unfortunately, we weren't a Beach Boys family, and I developed a prejudice against them based on Surfin USA and Barbara Ann that always had me on the defensive. But despite that, I like everything on Pet Sounds, with God Only Knows being the pinnacle of pop music songwriting and Sloop John B being one of the great earworms.

Made me think of local BC gal Darby Mills from back in the day....
The boy just did the sound for Darby up here in Kelowna at the community theatre.

Check your texts, I'll send the vid over, too big to post here. She still rocks and has a helluva voice for 67ish years old.

Yes I know this post was a ways back but still playing some catchup! haha

A boy is a male child or youth from birth to young manhood. It commonly refers to a young human male, a son, or in informal contexts, a group of male friends or "the boys". Synonyms include lad, youth, young man, kid, and youngster.

Darby played the local dope fest 80's top 40 show here a few years ago. Gene Simmons became part owner of the dope fest.

Music I couldn't stand forty years ago and still don't want to hear.

Dope grower Mayor did a sweetheart deal selling a big chunk of city land to the dope fest on the cheap because it brought tons of $$$$ to the city for the weekend.

Dope fest hasn't been held since and now they are subdividing the land, selling lots and making bank.

Not famous yet! Haha

Pretty solid musician as well. His band plays around town on occasion in small gigs.

That is a cousin eddy neighbourhood. Lots of black hoodies pushing bikes and shopping carts. High water mark in 2017 was above the highway. Johnny's next door is where we always told our crews to stay but 1/2 of it burnt a couple of months ago when a car in one of their carport caught fire and it spread.

Emily Armstrong is doing a solid job with Linkin Park
