Watched it last week - it's a bit of a slog, but an interesting study of (odd) human nature. Well acted.

He was sleazier than the Matt Damon version, for sure. The cinematography in the show was brilliant, I love how they kept making a thing about stairs. If you’ve ever been to Italy you’ll get it regarding the stairs

Apple has so many wicked good shows. I'm tripping on For All Mankind but you'd have to love Sci-fi like I do. It's a tad too soap opera like but is a fantastic concept with the alternative timeline thing
If you need air...call it in

Yeah, definitely one of the better ones out there.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2024 9:56 pm Apple has so many wicked good shows. I find it’s more consistent through 4 seasons than The Expanse but the first two seasons of The Expanse were better.

Apple is definitely the best of all the streaming services. Where Netflix is about quantity, Apple is about quality.

Picked up on Homeland recently.

Mmmm Morena Baccarin
Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?
Yeah....I took note of her in the past on V and whatever that space show she was in with the Canadian dude who was on that cop show where he was a novelist partner to a detective..
...but...
She's a little more "open" in Homeland for sure.

Hands down. However Crave (with their HBO add-on) is close.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 6:32 am Apple is definitely the best of all the streaming services. Where Netflix is about quantity, Apple is about quality.
I do wish that Apple had a bit more quantity though. But not if it comes at the expense of quality.
