At this point I'm wondering if there's going to be any violence or chaos at the polls. Trump doesn't seem to be making any effort to get out the vote, and the racist and vile comments coming out of the MSG rally seem intended to whip up his base at the expense of alienating voters of Puerto Rican origin (and other ethnicities) in the swing states. It doesn't make any sense.

The view on the left is that Trump's real campaign strategy is to sow enough doubt about the election that it falls to the House of Representatives, where each state has one vote., which Trump would likely win.

Exactly - other than entertainment value and the prospect of tariffs and other offshoots from a government run by billionaires, I don't see the reasoning - except that doc has to debate and has to have the last word.

Meanwhile, I'm surrounded by gun-owning right-wingers who get all of their info from their bubbles. Add in that trump is talking about using the "Alien Enemies Act of 1798" to round up people he doesn't like. It's all about creating fear and then loyalty. He has no real policies, other using tariffs and mass deportation to fix everything - neither of which will work.

So of course he's planting the seed for "unfair, stolen elections" and then (I'm assuming) raising cash to "fight" it. To him, it's just another grift. To others it's a means to an end. IF trump wins, he'll be off playing golf while creatures like Stephen Miller will be running things.

This country is pretty fucked up right now, and I'd hate to see Canada follow the same path.

He's pissed because his top soldier jumped ranks. It was fun for him with 5 or 6 clones portraying the Elmer is Genius nonsense.
