Twenty years ago I did a back of the envelope calculation of what a waiter at Bishops was pulling in. Well over $100K a year with a minimum wage salary.

If you tax wages, you should also tax capital gains (at the same rate), right? If the well-off white collar worker gets tax breaks on their investments, why shouldn't the single mom get a break as well?
