So the Democratic ticket is a VP candidate who oversaw the George Floyd riots and a Presidential candidate who helped raise bail money for the rioters.

Meanwhile Missouri voters just dumped far left Democratic Squad member Cori Bush from the November Congressional ticket.

She joins fellow Squad member Jamal Bowman of NY on the political sidelines.

I endorse parts of the Bible but that doesn't make a me a Christian or a Creationist.

Vance didn't endorse parts of Unhuman. He endorsed the book with a quote on the book jacket.

It is as though the Dems have thrown in the towel and are looking forward to 2028.

It's interesting to read widely differing viewpoints on this. In the liberal feeds I receive there is an almost euphoric optimism that the tide has suddenly turned in their direction. Poll numbers have improved and I don't detect any sense of throwing in the towel or focussing down-ticket.

There's also suggestions that Trump has geared his campaign for Biden and will be slow to change course because his attack lines don't come from focus groups or consultants, but rather are honed based on audience responses at his rallies. It will be slow going to refocus on Kamala.

If you listen to his speeches, tough, because his style is awkward, he hasn't had a problem pivoting to Kamala. If anything, his message is lost because so few know anything about Kamala's positions. She has been a completely empty vessel as VP and was never high profile before that. Her run for President was a disaster that never got off the ground. As VP, her accomplishments are word salad at primarily window dressing events. A glorified 1st Lady.

Her roles of substance, she has been MIA and is busy burying her association with those responsibilities.

JD pulled a great media stunt today. His plane was on the tarmac at the same time a Kamala's. He wandered over and the met with the press as walking back, "just wanted to check out my next plane"... "went to ask why she hasn't spoken with the press or answered their questions since becoming the presumptive candidate 17 days ago."

Good fun.

Walz on gun control - public doesn't doesn't need to be caring the weapons of war he carried in war .... he made it to Italy but quit the National Guard just after receiving word his unit would be deployed to Iraq. He never carried a weapon in a combat zone.

Reminds me of the drunk old US Marine vet I knew in Belize who would regale all with his Vietnam war days ... he never made it past the whore houses of the Philippines.

Now quotes of his wife saying she kept the windows open so she could smell the burning tires during the George Floyd riots that her husband sat on his hands and watched for four days before acting. Was it the burning of police precinct she was enjoying?

Walz's record of lies may be a bigger liability than Kamala's inaction on everything. She reminds me of Trudeau with the inaction until the fire extinguishes itself. ... See no evil.

As the article states, it's not unheard-of for people to write a jacket blurb without even reading the book.

I thought everyone knew that writing a jacket blurb does not mean you agree with everything in the book?

The blurb is merely an opportunity to state the part you do agree with and here is Vance's blurb:
