The Sharks already have Celebrini, Smith, Misa and Stenberg all only 21 years old or less.

We haven't drafted that quantity of quality forward in the totality of our existence let alone in the next 3 years.

In 20 years when Matthew Schaefer retires from hockey, he’s got a career in broadcasting. Kid is killing it.

I guess DeBrusk will be at training camp this fall.

Or, alternatively, when the opportunity arose (due to injury) to move up the lineup, he took the reigns and let er buck.

Some scouts had him as the best player in this draft even, a future franchise center. Maybe that's a stretch but I don't think picking him was an egregious fuckup by any stretch

Celebrini is on track to be a UFA in '31. Maybe if, by then, the Canucks look like they're turning the corner, he wants to "come home".

I guess I'm still high on the relief of ownership finally acknowledging that the team will never be any good if they don't do the unpleasant work of a rebuild. The Sharks are several years ahead of the Canucks in their rebuild trajectory.
