After some pondering, I'm guessing that isnotreal may be a word play on Israel, and g-side then a reference to the slaughter of civilians in Gaza.

If that is the case, it may please you to hear that several countries have been advocating for kicking Israel out of the Eurovision Song Contest, as Russia was in 2022. As the EBU has refrained from doing that, so far five countries (Spain, Ireland, Slovenia, the Netherlands and Iceland) have decided to boycott the event in 2026.

Turkey pulled out several years ago, but that had more to do with the high level of LGBTQ friendly content that they frown upon.

But now back to the Olympics!

Canada vs Sweden in the men’s curling right now.

Team Edin has had a terrible start to this tournament, with two losses, so they need to win this one.

Team Hasselborg is hot out of the gate though, beating both Japan and the US.

Brad Jacob's (3-0) took down Edin (a shocking 0-3) and his team.

In other news....Mark McMorris, who you may recall had an accident earlier in the games resulting in a missed event, appeared unbothered by the injury and finished third among 29 riders to set up an opportuntiy to win a fourth Olympic medal.
