General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that D Quinn Hughes will not play for the United States at the 4 Nations Face-Off.

Let’s face it, World Hockey Cups will never have the romance that soccer has, i.e., the World Cup, The European Cup. It comes across as a bit too gimmicky for the Chef to invest his time and heart into. It’s almost as cheesey as the Grammy’s.

Nothing beats the WJC’s when it comes to hockey tournaments.

I think it's great break from a lot of garbage the NHL serves up on a nightly basis.
