Quite the ending, some soft play on the empty net, score seven and it’s still a bit of a nail biter at the end.

it was good to see Winnipeg give up 6 goals. Made them look human. It was exciting hockey for sure and both teams are capable of scoring, as they showed. Winnipeg cannot get into a run and gun series with the Avs though. Avs have a porous defence and suspect goaltending, compared to their championship years. They can be taken advantage of if you play a boring tight defensive game with a strong forecheck, and shots on net.

I hate games like that. Much prefer a defensive chess match. Who'd a thunk those teams would play pond hockey.

Most teams are icing 20 guys that add up to... a couple of mill below the cap?
