He was a warrior in the two playoff games I saw in Abby. His wheels are baked but why not pick him up and let guys like Bains and perhaps Sasson help out Abby. Throw Manny a bone instead of bouncing an anvil off his head. Get a couple scrubs off waivers perhaps even a defender or as a cap dump in a trade. . Fatten em up and move em' along for a 4th/5th and be a salary broker this season.

I found it funny that MCP took such opposition to trading 3 UFA's, DOC, and the captain who clearly wants out.,He said it would gut the team which is hilarious.

For me, Blais fits the profile of the thirteenth guy you like to have sitting around for spot duty vs certain opponents more than Bains does. Bains I see much more in the AHL all star/tweener mold.

I can't imagine how much Miller's value would have depreciated if management didn't trade him when they did. His value was admittedly higher before last season, but imagine if management tried trading Miller this season. Chris Drury is likely having a shit-ton of buyer's remorse these days.
