Yes, there's a lot of things wrong with this country, some of which Mëds and topper point out, but to say it's in shambles? Isn't that a bit much? Contrast Canada today to Canada of the past. Yes, a shambles.
We are more divided than ever between east and west.
The divide between "indigenous and colonists" is louder than ever.
We have antisemitism rallies in our streets and it's ok.
What used to be traditional Canadian values are now persecuted.
Our education system is in the toilet.
Our healthcare is underfunded and overwhelmed.
Our public servant to citizen ration is off the charts bad.
Our resource sector is being targeted by the very government that should be protecting it.
Our military is perhaps in the worst state it has been in since WW1.
I could probably go on.....

None of those things are economic issues, or if they are they're marginal enough to not show up in the metrics we use to measure the health of the economy.
Security, healthcare, education, FM reconciliation, and culture issues exist, but they not economic.

I'm not too worried about our dollar. A low against USD would boost our exports and should be somewhat self-correcting (more exports -> economic boom -> inflation -> raised interest rates -> stronger dollar). Trump tariffs would complicate that picture.
The GDP per capita is more concerning. Looking at the pure figures (without comparison to the US), we have not recovered to pre-pandemic levels. That said, we've seen drops like this before (since the '80s) and got back on trend. We'll have to wait and see.
Nothing to indicate the economy is in shambles though.
