That's why Zuckerberg is a billionaire and you're still cruising around on a rusty bike with spandex, you'll lose this one, move on.
Are you going to take my action that Miller will out-produce Benn this year? I'd extend that to over the next 5 years, Miller will have more points than Benn.

But Skyo let's just say you're right and Benn has value. I'd only consider taking him for a deal built around Loui and Baertschi, and with Dallas retaining. If you're right, what price are you willing to pay? Dallas is old, they repeatedly need youth and picks, especially if they pick up the tab on Loui. Are you willing to pay the price to get rid of Loui and add Benn?
Here's how I work things for these trade ideals, I go hardcore for my ideal for a day or two and then leave it lol, as it becomes daunting and psychotic. Then I revisit the ideal down the road.

As for Benn boy, trying to work the cap would be troublesome & I'd rather keep players like Juolevi and Gaudette who'd they probably want. And the more I think about it, we got some big fellas to work with in Miller/Pearson/Ferland.

Benn vs Miller could be close this year, but in the long run Benn will outscore JT, Millsy tops out around 50-55pts it seems, might have ONE career year going above 60, but Benn is capable of scoring elite, he's like a Rantanen in that regard, a big burly scorer who would be effective to have in the playoffs.

Cap aside man that would be a crazy line to watch though BENN - PETTERSSON - BOESER. It's just too out there, he might get dealt to a team with sufficient cap space where they can absorb his full cap while giving Dallas a 1st rounder, a top six player and a blue-chip prospect.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Lol Dallas absolutely isn’t getting that much for six more years of Jamie Benn.

In all honestly though the team is playing fantastic, the synergy is amazing while we got everyone signed and under the cap even with Luongo's fucking recapture penalty of $3 million.

This is a good season to just let everyone play and see how it goes, while everyone plays better and reach the playoffs that would be beneficial to everyone, for money, for contracts for team morale and *sneakily* increasing player trade value.

Best case scenario is JV and Stecher have superb seasons so we can trade em high after the season while they're RFA's and require raises.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

For picks? Older veterans? Wont get younger players that are an upgrade unless we pay much more. We don't have much money and
we're not going to have much money for a very long time. For the most part, the team has been built.
There may be something that shows big in the minors, like Rafferty, Oli, etc.,
You said it yourself in regards to synergy. Jake seems to be a part of that. If Stecher wants a raise and he'll be gone, so there's that.

Dallas isn't doing the Aqualungs any favours.

Vancouver got it's Jamie Benn last off season for a conditional first.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

They got a far younger and cheaper version. Don’t forget they also coughed up a 3rd too. Tampa did ok

.
Playing a hunch posting this here in this armchair. Ya never know...
Rick Dhaliwal

Sven Baertsch’s agent Andre Rufener met with Jim Benning and Travis Green in New York over the weekend : “We had a good positive meeting and the door is not closed in Vancouver for Sven.”

Baertschi off to a hot start in Utica.

Miller has been outstanding for us. If he was a first round pick for us nobody would be complaining. Win! Benning! Who cares about Tampa.

Keep Sven, injuries are going to happen. Him and Goldy will be back. Depth wins. The Depth Benning has to play with is an embarrassment of riches! And it’s only going to get better!

I guess the forward depth chart goes Roussel, Gaudette, Baertschi, Goldobin, McEwen, Lind....then Loui somewhere in there.

I like Sven as a player, but I'd be fine with giving him a better opportunity elsewhere, and I think he could return a 2nd.
