Justin sat on his hands selling our country by the square foot, and it’s completely overwhelmed our laughably inefficient bureaucratic government services under the guise of creating jobs.

All he’s really done is set the generations who have already made a life here and contributed to the country greatly to the slaughter with some kind of sick ruse of a medical system. People will be dying waiting for care and get told nothings wrong with them, as if they don’t know how their own body feels.

Resignation was an injustice. I’d settle for a tar and feathering. Same with Jagmeet.

Our healthcare system is primarily a provincial responsibility.

The leader is chosen by votes from each riding given equal weight, a riding in Nunavut has the same weight as a riding in Montreal, so national organization, especially so is a shortened race, is key. Appears many ridings are throwing their weight in with Carney as is the PMO which means much of the National organization will be backing Carney.

There is also a quote from the Thatcher overthrow "he who wields the sword does not inherit the crown". It was very much Freeland's sword.

This a a race for a viable candidate for five years from now, not the upcoming election. Will the Liberals find a safe seat for their new leader to run in? Freeland's riding isn't a safe seat.

What I find annoyingly funny is that MPs coming forward saying the Party and Government they have been a part of , has plunged too far left and needs to get back to its centrist roots. Where was that sentiment the past 15 years?

I was across the line today buying coffee from a small local roaster. They do a fair bit of business with Canadian customers but are concerned about up coming counter tariffs. When Trump did this the first time, coffee was hit back by Canada (except decaf - is the Justin's drink of choice?). This is a small mom & pop level business.

There was also a fellow there who is in the design and manufacturing business. His cost of metals, primarily aluminum, for manufacturing will increase if Trump imposes tariffs. He's already looking at moving his manufacturing offshore where raw materials are cheaper than Trumps 25% surcharge on his Canadian supply.
