Fernandez denounces Trump:
vulgarity, intellectual dishonesty, invective, abuse, misogyny, racism, intolerance, bullying, ignorance and downright cruelty.
This is insanity and dictatorial machinations at best.
This abysmally unfit candidate has unleashed racist and violent acts. There has been no need for dog whistles. The call to brand entire religions and countries as unworthy and despicable, and the call for profoundly un-American practices, including asking the honorable men and women serving our country in the military to engage in the profoundly dishonorable task of torturing human beings and killing innocent families, has been open and unequivocal. The very worst in our society, the Klan and the neo-Nazis, revel in this horrific rhetoric.

I do not believe I have ever felt or read more animosity in a sports thread. Could it be teh election itself is to blame for the polarizing going on? For the intensity of arguments (mine included) and the name calling and just awful remarks there is no comparison in my experience which is limited I grant you. i do not pay much attention to the internet as one can prove anything using it. Maybe hate is a human condition and the American election is stirring it up. Who knows but I am not biting anymore. It does not feel good. After reading the last few posts there is getting to be a level of hysteria. Much like the GOP and I will do anything not to be identified with them.

I thought we were going to ignore each other.
Topper, Per, and yours truly all share a certain level of mutual respect.
We also share a certain 'higher sense of humour'.
These are things which are presently flying directly over your head.
Also, Topper posted facts about your beloved Hillary that you didn't want to hear.
The only person in the last few posts who is worked-up in any way whatsoever... is you.
"hysteria"
Also, kindly move the bracketed... "mine included"... eight words to the right.
Thank you and have a nice day.

YUP!!Topper wrote:Her brains are scrambled.
http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/hillary-cl ... -1.3746446Holy Thomas Eagleton.U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told the FBI she did not recall all of the briefings she received on handling sensitive information as she made the transition from her post as secretary of state, due to a concussion she suffered in 2012, according to a report released Friday.
Said the report, "Clinton said she received no instructions or direction regarding the preservation or production of records from [the] State [Department] during the transition out of her role as Secretary of State in 2013.
"However, in December of 2012, Clinton suffered a concussion and then around the New Year had a blood clot [in her head]. Based on her doctor's advice, she could only work at State for a few hours a day and could not recall every briefing she received," the report said.
(I'll admit I had to look up Thomas Eagleton)
It was good of you though to point out that she doesn't necessarily have to be Eagletoned.
(that perhaps she's just a "lyin'ass bitch")

I originally thought it was Sargent Shriver but fact checked and found it was Kennedy clan Schriver who replaced the memorable Eagleton.Strangelove wrote: (I'll admit I had to look up Thomas Eagleton)

To be fair there is a insinuation but he doesn't claim that trump is a nazi
In the same vein, here's a question. Why is it okay to condemn some one as a communist using the same tactic which is principally designed to agitate the debate and get off topic ?

Some facts, how credible? Up to who wants it to be.
A ton of sarcastic humor? Has always been that way.
Name calling and demeaning your opponent? Has always been that way.
There is NO REASON for this to cause hard feelings, it's politics!
The fact we have a separate place to play (within a hockey forum), is a privilege! I think that's great.

He opened the door to 25000 refugees that has at least partially restored Canada's reputation as a caring and peace loving nation.
And he got rid of Harper who is arguably in the top three worst prime ministers in Canadian history.
Harper, Mulroney and Diefenbaker... All conservatives hmmm ?
That's a pretty good start
