Rahimi played two seasons with the Moose back when, but never managed to make the cut for the Canucks. He has managed to establish himself in the SHL though, but with a roughneck reputation. He frequently plays on the national team; ie until the NHL players show up... We have so many good Swedish D-men in the NHL that the SHLers hardly ever make the cut for the major championships. He has made the World Championships roster twice though, and has a bronze medal to show for it. Last season he actually played for Davos in Switzerland, but this season he is back in the SHL playing for Växjö.
They looked really good together in the Swedish second tier league last season.
