Damn. Demko couldn't save them all.

PK was decent.

Offense? What's that?
Just want a Cup before we're all dead...

Should he have started Lankinen?
It would have given us a much better idea of what sort of roster we have after Hughes.
Why not sit Hughes then too?

6 shots in the 3rd period when trailing by 2 goals.....

The only thing worse was the 4 and 5 shots in the 1st and 2nd periods (respectively).

That wasn't a "system problem". That was 100% a lack of horses that can actually threaten. I predict a dozen more games this year where we put 15 or fewer pucks on net.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

How many years in a row do we have to accurately predict Demko is going to get hurt from being overplayed before these cementheads behind the bench begin to notice a pattern ffs? Ten-twelve?

Id assume Lankinen will play the next one. Its going to be 50 /32 split or thereabouts.

Demko could handle 60 games easily if 30 of them weren't abortions like this one.

Are you referring to what Quinn thinks of Pettersson's ability to make a clutch play?

It's a cruel matchup Mëds; especially with a half-Peter.

Yeah. I won't even compare anyone on our team to McDavid, he's just unreal. But Draisaitl, RNH, Mangiapane, and Frederic, all showed that they can skate circles around what our 1C is capable of on the other end. It's not even fucking close.

The good:

Demko
The PK
Hughes sets the record
I got to watch the game

The bad:

The PP
The offence
Everything other than Demko
I got to watch the game
The only HW the Canucks need
