I could be swayed to ponder Tanev as I'd prefer Hronek were RS on D pairing 2 and CT would play with QH.
With the caveat that Zads asshole/physical/intimidation is replaced elsewhere.

Canucks now have 14.5 mil in cap space. Targets are Tanev, Zadorov and Guentzel
Would Tanev be willing to sign for 3 mil? "Home town discount"
Zadorov sign for 5 mil?
That would leave 6.5 mil for a winger for Petey. Plus other scraps needed to fill out the roster.
Yeah, it would be tough to land Guentzel if we are signing both of those D. Look's like it will probably be 2 out of 3.

TBH, I don't think he would even need to schedule it, would happen on its own in year 3 or 4.
Only other thought I had, if the Canucks wanted to go 'all in', was they could try to pick up someone else's LTIR via trade.

I'm a north shore guy and I know for a fact that both of them want to play here.
