Well, if (IF!) Miller is the problem, then management has to first get a list of teams from him, then wait for a deal with a decent return. If they dumped him, the fan base would go crazy crazier.
Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
A 6 game win streak would sure help about now. Remember how Garland wanted out at the start of last year?

Well I do have it on good gossip that his absence is all about this issue. He was called out by the team AND asked if he would consider waiving his NMC. He was taken aback at the ask and requested time away to think. My understanding is that he and his wife do not want to move and I imagine now reading the article that a lot of that may have to do with the life she has set up for herself here in vancouver.
His modified NMC does not kick in until 26-27. I don't know if that means July 1st 26 or when the season starts in the fall of 26. Right now we are in 24-25. So if he refuses to waive we have awhile to wait before we can trade him on the modified agreement.

Speaking of trades.
And speaking of teams rumored to be interested in Miller.
And speaking of New Jersey.
Simon Nemec is making some unhappy with the regime noises from Utica.
