I'd rather see Stecher go and re-call Baertschi, once Loui gets demoted (and hopefully retires).

What's wrong with it is that he's over-paid this year, at $3.5mil. I don't see him as an upgrade on Stetcher.

Stretchers been juggling the puck this year...fighting it. He gets better with more reps but we have no time for his fumbles and theres 5 or 6 better than him.

That said pass on the pysser. The gains he brings arent worth another big contract unless they take money back...which they dont want.

The whole team looks like they are going to take awhile to gel. Could be a 10 game losing streak right off the hop

I believe Baertschi buried contract is $2.291M cap hit.

Pysyk is $2.733M, so for a Baertchi-Pysyk swap, Florida would have to retain 20% of his salary = $2.193M cap hit.

I imagine this is just a contract dump trade as Pysyk would be let go at the end of the season, while barto has 1 year left.

And I suppose Pysyk would be an OK depth solution at this point with Fattyburger.

^ Or we bury Pysyk for a $1.7M cap hit.

But anyway, moving on, this rumour has no legs...
