If you can get 1-15 OA you jump at that! The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 3:39 pm Would you move Tanev if that coveted 1-15 OA pick is coming back?
I would imagine Benny already has an idea what they are looking for value wise...could we see an under the radar move by the deadline if he already knows Tanev will be walking? Is hanging onto him as a rental wise?
Thoughts?

Show your math!Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 1:18 pm But yeah if he wants something starting with a 6, you let him walk. Same with Jacob. Eriksson/Sutter/Beagle may cost this team a good player this summer.

https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/qa- ... DQktkhWZYEWe’re getting to a point now where we’ve drafted well and are developing players in the minors. We’ve got guys down there that we need to get them some games up here. (Justin) Bailey has three hat tricks. He’s playing good and it would be nice to have a look at him (in the NHL). We’ve had some defencemen (like Brogan Rafferty) who have had good seasons and we’d like to get a look at them. There are some players down there now ready to play NHL games.
Most leagues allow their players to go elsewhere once their team has been eliminated, but I think the KHL is more restrictive. They don't want to do the NHL any favours....rats19 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 9:01 amKhl ends April 30The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 7:45 am Stupid question probably but can Tryampkin play this year or the playoffs? Some teams are able to add players late in the year and i have no idea what the rules are regarding this. Didn't carolina just bring back Williams?
I'm thinking once his contract is fullfilled in the khl. Their season ends in april i believe
Don’t think he can play till next season

Doc is right. We might not have "loads" of cap, but, we do have enough. In previous years, we had lots of over-paid vets, and no useful ELC's. Going forward, we should have 4-5 guys on ELC's, or cheap 2nd contracts. 2021/22 might be kinds tight, but, even then, we still have enough ELCs who can fill in the holes. Ffs, we don't even have a problem without making any major trades or buy outs.

Catch 23 situation right there
