In any case I'm of the opinion to keep the team "healthier" we should trade for Ryan Reaves, to make players like Tierney, Mattheson etc think twice before trying to hurt our star players, they ain't trying to injure, but they are trying to hurt em with being extra in their hitting.
Ferland will help, but it'd be nice to have two big soldiers for backup and in case one gets injured.
Or make way for MacEwen full time as he big and aggressive as well with scoring potential, but with Reaves everyone knows when he's around.

we are reading an awful lot into superficial news reports. If the existence of pundits on Fox has taught us anything it is to look deeper and suspend judgment. At 21 years of age I was in Oakalla. Where were you at the same age? Not just the Chef but all of us. Hockey is a game and a business and where millions are being discussed I would be cautious in believing anything.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 11:24 am The problem for Winnipeg is he’s not a well rounded player, really good at one thing and that is it. Jets are in a tough spot

Hot damn BerryMan, I love your style. Don’t leave for long stretches. My grandpappy took up a room at Okalla for a stint. That’s about as close as it gets for medamonberryman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2019 7:39 pmwe are reading an awful lot into superficial news reports. If Tryamkin is back this year or next, what could we try for Stecher at the deadline?
I'd sooner re-up Tanev over Stetcher, though I doubt you could get a 2nd for Troy.

I was reading that Drouin is on the block from the Habs..
Goldobin, Sutter/Erickson, Sautner (he just needs to go), and perhaps a Lind type for Drouin and a 2nd? --- no second included if they take both Sutter and Erickson. (We retain 1/2 on Sutter)
They get depth and NHL lineup players, we get roster space and cap relief.

Nice one - Russians love Montreal, Loui and Sutter probably don't have Montreal on their no trade list, Habs need NHL depth.Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2019 6:59 am I was reading that Drouin is on the block from the Habs..

Goldy will probably be on waivers within the week so why would they give anything up for him?
