So does that mean Trouba for Hamonic? Apparently the negotiations with the Trouba camp isn't going well not to mention don't know how they can afford to sign him with Buffy's new deal. The Isles will obviously have to add to the deal

Probably also means Ladd is gonzo
Yeah with Buff signed they can trade Trouba now for Hamonic, good thing so the Oilers don't get him haha.

Good term and cap hit for the Jets.

How fucking stacked were the 2010 Blackhawks.

I just read that Sid the kid reached the 900 point level for his career over the weekend.

The article mentioned he did it in 677 games, and then went on to note, the greatest player to every play the game (yes, I said that), Bobby Orr, a defenseman, hit 900 points in 638 games. WOW!

Yeah, what a player. But when you go back and watch games from that era you realize how terrible the goaltending used to be.

Unscreened slap shot goals were a nightly occurrence. Pretty much everything that went in would be considered a bad goal by today's standards.

Sure, back then you got the fat stupid kid to play net because chances are he drooled better than he skated, but put today's goaltenders in that vintage equipment and see how mobile they are.

Yeah, there were so many holes in that stand-up style. You could actually score along the ice back then.

That's just sick Doc. It's only certain folks in certain places. You make it read like we all would wonder

With the Alexander Pietrangelo injury that could very well extend beyond the TDD, and the Bigfuckingugly new contract, and with Hamonic only wanting to go to the west, Hamhuis just got that much more valuable. Yandle is still on the trade block as well though.

As Dude suggested the Jets could now look to work out a deal for Homonic that involves Trouba.

The big fly in the ointment of course is Hamhuis's NTC and how he exercises that. That could bring his value down.

Never a better time to trade Hamhuis, Sbisa and Edler!

One caveat to the Yandle rumours is the uncertainty with McDonough's glass jaw. How long will he actually be out?

I'm a bit surprised the Jets were able to re-sign Buffy. I really thought he was going to test the market, but the Jets did pay up for him. Would have been interesting to see him become a UFA and see if we have a chance on him. Always luved Buffy and he would have been sweet here as he totally fits the bill on what we need. Oh well, Lucic would be great too, would luv to see JB try to court him. :P

Gustavsson still having trouble with his heart rate?
Wow. I think he has had surgery to fix that twice... :|
Maybe he needs to get a pacemaker?

Good to hear that Subban seems to be doing OK though.
