Well there are thousands of Isles fans who watch Dobson and disagree with you, but hey, they're not the Great Doyle.Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 1:32 pm The Great Doyle actually watches other players than those that play for the Canucks
Prey tell what do they say about him?Strangelove wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 1:36 pmWell there are thousands of Isles fans who watch Dobson and disagree with you, but hey, they're not the Great Doyle.Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 1:32 pm The Great Doyle actually watches other players than those that play for the Canucks![]()
I’m all good revisiting this in a couple years. Mackinnon, Makar, Thomas, Byram.... something tells me I’ll be 5/5 with a couple bombs.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 2:06 pm Doyle you can’t be serious in thinking a straight up trade of Boeser for Dobson is a fair trade for us? C’mon Bro. Calder Trophy Finalist. All Star Game In rookie year etc. No fat chance it’s a fair trade for Vancouver.
So you’re 100% confident Dobson will be of equal value or better than the asset of Boeser?Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 2:09 pmI’m all good revisiting this in a couple years. Yes. And if I was only 80 % sure it’s worth the gamble. Wasn’t it you saying Buffalo won the ROR deal? You also said Colorado should have gotten more for Duchene I think...Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 2:14 pmSo you’re 100% confident Dobson will be of equal value or better than the asset of Boeser?Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 2:09 pmI’m all good revisiting this in a couple years. His game has slid since those early days. Hes off the top line and struggled to net 16 goals. His value is lowChef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 2:06 pm Doyle you can’t be serious in thinking a straight up trade of Boeser for Dobson is a fair trade for us? C’mon Bro. Calder Trophy Finalist. I guess the question is, would the other team be getting the rookie Boeser or the guy who appears to have levelled off, struggles to stay healthy, and seems to have had a nagging wrist issue affect his shot. I'd prefer not to trade him, let him get his wrist in order so he can score 40 or so, but if they sign Toffoli moving a RW is a logical move. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 2:47 pmHis game has slid since those early days. I dont think that deal will happen no...we're just throwing out hypothetical scenarios based on the nux and the isles needs.Curmudgeon wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 3:28 pm Do you think the Islanders do it? Potentially an interesting deal to see come together and track over the years and would fill a massive hole in the Canucks org.
"I've watched Dobson play and I know he will be a #1 D man within 2-3 years" = The dumb comment here.Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 2:02 pmPrey tell what do they say about him?Strangelove wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 1:36 pmWell there are thousands of Isles fans who watch Dobson and disagree with you, but hey, they're not the Great Doyle.Doyle Hargraves wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 1:32 pm The Great Doyle actually watches other players than those that play for the Canucks![]()
Funny I’ve read the Islanders board and they seem to love the kid. The burden of proof is on yourself to defend your dumb comment here.
