CC Random thread

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Time for Sweden to bring stricter gun laws?

Does Prince Karim Aga Kahn not look like a Caucasian to you? He looks as red Scottish as my Uncle Alex.

Automatic weapons rumoured to be involved.

Probably untracked surplus from the Swedish shadow war machine.

I met a Sikh holyman walking down the sidewalk one day. He had pink skin and ice blue eyes.

The school, called Campus Risbergska, serves students over age 20, according to its website. Primary and upper secondary school courses are offered, as well as Swedish classes for immigrants, vocational training and programs for people with intellectual disabilities.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Florida Surgeon Sued for Removing Liver Instead of Spleen
Beverly Bryan had no fears when her husband, Bill, went in to have his spleen removed last August at Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast Hospital in Florida. She says she was told she’d see him “a few minutes later,” but she never saw her husband alive again. Bryan is now suing the hospital and surgeon Thomas Shaknovsky, accusing them of wrongful death and medical malpractice. The lawsuit, filed Jan. 30, alleges that Shaknovsky mistakenly removed Bill Bryan’s liver instead of his spleen, then conspired with hospital leadership to falsify records.

I guess it's not all that rare...
Medical malpractice remains a significant concern in the U.S., with medical errors causing 251,000 fatalities annually. This accounts for 9.5% of all deaths each year, ranking as the third leading cause of death in the U.S., following heart disease and cancer.
