All right, option 2. Trade down and grab 2 more picks in the top 10.

Absolutely the worst result possible for the Flames, but they will still get a good player at 6th.

I only saw the Sedins once before the lottery. I couldn’t tell which was which. It’s a tie!
I still shocked that anyone didn’t expect they’d be picking third.

How far back?

I thought after top 3 - 4 the prospects ability to make an influence to the team drops significantly. So if the team wants to be better why would they do that. Is not a top 3 better for the team?

I understand that more is better and nothing says a #3 will make it as expected.

San Jose will take Reid and Stenberg will fall to the Canucks. Despite what Greer said about BPA.

Toronto winning is like a big dump taken on us.

OK, at least we conditioned ourselves for this.

Still doesn't suck any less, fucking hell Toronto!

Now let's just hope for a repeat of 2017 when the Avs with best odds lost and dropped to 4th. Their FU to everybody was get the best player in the draft.

I'm not convinced McKenna is going to be what everyone hopes he will become anyway so meh...it's fine. The kid is a lightweight winger who may or may not be able to play his game. Remember, his skating is only average

Even if Stenberg was available at #3, I would expect the old fart to pick Malhotra regardless as a way to entice his Dad to stick around. Worked so well the last time… fucking retards.

McKenna to Vancouver!

(Chayka, smartest guy in the room, overthinks; San Jose goes for a D).

(Seriously, though, if the Canucks want the Swede, I think there’s a good chance he’s available @ 3. Sharks might opt for a D).
