Of course he was shaken. They beat him into submission and he admitted his guilt.

Are the Wings heading for an injury plagued season?
Detroit prospect Jerome Verrier broke his leg Friday in a collision with veteran Darren Helm during a drill in the first 10 minutes of camp.

Although still tight to the salary cap (less than $1 million from the ceiling, according to General Fanager), Chicago did free up signing space this summer by parting with Sharp, Johnny Oduya, Brandon Saad and others.

Keith, the team’s best defenceman and the unanimous Conn Smythe winner in 2015, already makes less than Seabrook (Keith carries a $5.538 million cap hit), and it would not be surprising if Seabrook is asking for a deal in the range of, say, Dion Phaneuf’s, which carries a $7 million hit.
There goes Seabrook probably.

So we get to sign IN's fave cap hit player Lucic July 1st, woot!

Maybe if Benning was able to unload Miller to SJ (which apparently was talked about with both sides) we'd maybe be able to land both. A long shot for sure; but that would certainly make a certain poster around here that likes asshole happy.

Did the press bend him backwards over the bike and bone him?

Freud made a fortune in women's lingerie.........which may relate to Kane or his victim.

Maybe Miller gets traded next off-season! :mex:

Yeah, some "rebuild"... 5 prospects for Gatling Gun Grabner!

All they've been doing since they said "rebuild" is bring in vets and get rid of prospects.

(well they've brought in a few middling prospects as well)

The only decent prospects they have right now are 3 tiny forwards:

Marner, Nylander, and to a lesser extent Kapanen.

And the only good young player on the team this year will be Rielly.

Yup, it's gonna be a loooooooooong rebuild at the Centre of the Universe!

Leaf fans, of course, have once again been sucked in to being all gung-ho

... but give this mess a year or two. ;)

Doc you just don't get it. The leaves are transitioning. They want to stay competitive during this transition and bring the young kids along in a winning environment. Geesh already. Er, er, er, wait, that's us. Can you imagine how nuts this place would be if Benning did that trade? Yet not hearing a lot of criticism out there from the so called experts.
The only HW the Canucks need

Yes, Magic 40 is known for his consistently high level of compete. There is no veteran leadership in their lineup.

That defense we'd have would be crazy for a solid 5 years at least.

Alexander Edler - Chris Tanev

Dan Hamhuis - Dustin Byfuglien

Powerplay #1

Sedins - V̶r̶b̶a̶t̶a̶ Lucic
Edler - Buff

@CraigCustance

AAV on Oscar Klefbom deal will be $4.167 million. @TSNRyanRishaug first reported 7-year deal.
Oilers sign 22 year old Klefbom to a little over $4M per aav for 7 years.

The Oilers love them some long-term contracts, don't they? Klefbom has achieved exactly sweet dick all at the NHL level. Looks like the new boss is the same as the old boss.
