Billy Guerin on Chiclets said he called Allvin to assess the Canucks desired return and he was told to call Rutherford on this deal as JR was handling it.

He said he usually deals with Patrick on most things so that is interesting.

With all the recent blabbing to the media and now this revelation, it seems like the old man wanted to hog the limelight and have all the glory.

I always thought that he ran the show and the others were just the domestic help that were given fake titles. The sandwich makers and the butler.

I bet Hughes didn't even know who whatstheirnames were.
