I'm actually surprised how immune I am to the results this season. I mean... I want to care... but it's just not there for the first time in a long time.

I was quite surprised myself, being a life-long fan.

In the midst of the successful Tocchey season, I found myself losing interest even with some of the statistically best players in franchise history. Don't know why but, on a whim, I cancelled the hockey package and only watched free streams occasionally during that playoff run if they were available. Crazy, right?

I have become comfortably numb. Just don't care. Haven't watched a game since. Refused tix to watch live. Now my buddy who had seasons for close to 20 years, gave up himself after last season.

Keep tabs on the score on some game nights. Watch the goal highlights that get immediately posted these days. That's it.

Maybe get a bit semi-erect close to the TDD and June draft, but not even a full boner. Got no clue who we picked after the 1st round.

Last year felt like the worst team in franchise history. This season may actually be. You can cut the expansion era teams slack, but this era? No words, no puns I can come up with.

Just don't care. I'm just here for the bad company.

I find last season and this season kind of fun to watch in a car crash kind of way. I watch the games and no emotional attachment, I can just watch and enjoy and feel no stress on it.

That's the healthiest way to approach it, I suppose.

Just not sure how many car crashes a normal man can watch before losing interest :?:

I'm completely ambivalent.

The only joy the team brings me is this site.

A mockery of a pro sports franchise....

The NFL has become something I find myself far more interested in.

We are all here for each other  Group hug everyone!

For myself, I'm only here for the humour. Sure, I have a marginal interest in keeping up to date but the only reason I can keep reading every thread is there's not much traffic.

I don't know who I heard it from but somebody said it cost $600 for the year if you want to watch every single game. Don't know if that's true or not but it kind of puts the nail in the coffin for me.

Don't know what's in store for the future but maybe I will just get an SN subscription for the playoffs if the Canucks become relevant again.

I'm nearly a senior now and life is too precious to waste my time and money supporting a bunch of millionaires and fat fuck owners. It's liberating.

It’s really pretty cheap in the USA to watch out of market games. VPN it, boys.

The nhl is a great product. Just not the Canucks. But would like the nfl so much if you were born and bred a NYJets fan and it’s been 15 years since your last playoff game?

I have found it hard to watch a game going on 3 seasons now. I have lost complete interest this season. I may become engaged again when some of our draft picks graduate into the NHL.

I was in denial about how long this rebuild will take and in my ability to stomach a rebuild. Now I fully support that they are finally doing this as it is the right thing to do.

Honestly, if possible, I'd like them to send Buium and Willander to Abbotsford. Play Brisbois and Mancini. But those two need to go and dominate in the AHL for at least a half of a season, and hopefully get onto a winning team.
The only HW the Canucks need
