Hmmm, I believe you are referring to the early trials in France (75% of patients cured!)
But there was also a ton of success in China at the point Donny gave that "broadcast to a nation".

He has suggested people could go to work even if they are ill.
He has stated that those fifteen cases will go to zero in no time and the whole thing will blow over in three weeks.

And that's just the past Per. Nothing can be done to fix those Trump fuck-ups.
What about the future? How about that the lockdown will be over in 2 weeks and everyone will be able to have Easter dinner together? Talk about giving false hope and encouraging people to think this is not a big deal. By Easter the pandemic will be peaking and hospitals will be overrun with patients.
Trump keeps sending out the wrong message. All he's interested in is collecting personal accolades like being a "wartime president". But instead of putting a command economy in place, he pits states against one another to bid the highest price for masks and respirators. I never liked Trump to begin with, though I could see why some voted for him, but this pandemic has been revealing. He's disgusting. The guy has no conscience whatsoever.

In other news, a study released yesterday has shown that men are 50% more likely to die if contracting COVID-19 than are women. So I say, let all the women out to work and play and quarantine men for 90 days. They are after all the vulnerable population.
