And then came DeBrusk....

Player is all right, will probably fit the bill for what the team wants, will play 200 feet. But I think I would have preferred to keep patient, and am concerned about 7 years to a player that has had trouble finding consistency and when he does, could land on the-not-very-good version.

How much did Teuravainen want to play in Chicago? Much prefer that player, contract, and term to this for the same basic role.

Danton Heinen signs with the Canucks. Hometown boy!

Hopefully the found Petey a winger who Tocchet can trust.

I’m with you UW.

He’s a left hand version of Conner Garland. Slightly bigger but has trouble cracking the top six on a consistent basis.

Van needs size and snarl up front.

Teuvo was might target too, but he obviously wanted to go back to Chicago. They drafted him.

I'm on opposite side of yourself and UW BoS.

I'll expand later when the frenzy dies down and posts aren't getting drowned.

He turns 28 in October. I don’t mind the cap hit and term. I’m suspecting they are leaving some space on the table to resign Boeser. It’s an signing that makes room for a resigning

Our forward balance and depth is looking pretty healthy today. And they didn't blow their brains out either. Impressive work.

He’s got size and speed - 6’-1” 200 lbs. I’ll gladly take that. The Canucks needed speed big time and we got it in DeBrusk

Kylington has decided to test free agency. He would be a great pick up for some team - just hope he doesn't go to the Oilers. There is still a chance that he could re-sign with flames - they have a final offer on the table. But, if they lose him, they have a lot of D prospects in their system, so he is easily replaced.

I think a line of Pettersson DeBrusk and Podkolzin works in my books. Could see a break out year for Pod.
