Some beautiful music from Björk there!
V Bjork is the Canuck pick, right?
Could be. Some have him going in the top ten but eg Craig Button has him at 22nd.
Either way, the Canucks picked his older brother in the fifth round in 2025. Maybe prepping for a family reunion?
He doesn't look like a 22nd pick to me Per. He's small, but there's bite in that dog; he's really determined. And skilled.
The small winger from last year's draft, Eklund, is very impressive too. He's a little beast.
Viggo is a gutsy player, not afraid of the the dirty areas. Most sites have him at 5’-10” 172 lbs. He reminds me of a mix of Patrick Kane/Connor Garland. Elite hands and vision.
I haven't seen a lot of the Swedish team, but he's been a standout from what I have seen. Especially as a draft eligible.

when the 2026 class was starting to be talked about, a year or so ago. The two names most mentioned were McKenna and Björck. The only reason he’s all over the place on the lists now is that some are put off by his size in the same manner some were put off by Caufield and Stankoven. The kid has a high motor compete level, he isn’t afraid of the dirty areas. He’s one of the more skilled players in the class. I’d be surprised if he falls outside the top 10.

Good news.
Who is coming out?
Get your pail of rocks ready to throw that 65 mph heater at these kids from the comfort of the Cap Reserve watching on your 32 inch Sony Trinitron that you needed 4 longshoremen to packino the double wide.
Can a man still get decent Sockeye on the Rez? I got attacked by a couple pithulls last time I purchased fish out in your hood.

I was thinking the game between Sweden and the US on new year’s eve would determine the winner of the group, but it seems the Slovaks want a say as well. Didn’t see this coming.

Bear is an energy player. Team Canada needs an energy boost. Verhoeff can be a beast…let loose the hounds like Doyle ripping through magazine flaps on a Tuesday back in the hey days of the ole Port Moody Inn, full on coast to coast with the chin wag.

CzechoSlovakia are both playing well. Just like old times.
If not Canada, I could root for either of these Eastern Euros.

Slovak player dives and the referee bites.
Slavakia capitalizes and pulls ahead of the Americans 4-3.

Chef is calm cool and collected as always, like Blondie from the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
