Did Gord Miller survive a bear attack? It looks like he's had plastic surgery to hide a missing jawbone. There's like no jaw whatsoever there. Weird
The Canadiana Hockey Homer - Miller has been struggling with WJC post apocalyptic depression over the last couple WJC tournaments. For his sake I hope Canada does well this year, he was in a very dark place after last years tourney.

The criticism of how Canada’s game has evolved over the last few WJC tournaments is their dependence on their “stars”, playing a more individual game than a team game. This was noted by an American player, forget who it was, when talking about the difference between USA hockey and Canada hockey. It’s not a question of Canada not producing skilled player’s, it’s that they don’t know how to play together in tournaments at the junior level. Curious if Hunter’s coaching is able to make a difference this year. CHL plays a more individual game. McKenna says this has been the biggest adjustment for him at the NCAA. Fast pace, a hard working, team game, there’s no room out there.

Stenberg is a good player, strong, protects the puck really well

Really liking his game. The puck skills are absolutely elite. I have only seen a bit of McKenna's game but what I've seen isn't equal to this Swedish kid. He's unreal

Him and Viggo Bjorck are impressive. A lot of teams will regret passing on Bjorck as time passes.

I only caught a few glimpses of the game, but he reminded me a bit of Jagr skating with the puck on his stick.

Wilson Bjork. He's the older brother of one of Sweden's first-round draft prospects this year. He plays at Colorado College.

More like Bjorck. Stenberg will be long gone by the time we draft.

Looks like the Slovaks hung in there.
To be fair, I bet Mëds would be less vocal if we got Swedes who were more Forsberg than Naslund. I know I would be onboard with selecting talent that had both skill and some truculence... no matter their country of origin.
