If you need air...call it in
Re: GDT: Canadians @ Canucks Oct 25 4pm CBC
They have looked far more dangerous. Lankinen has actually been good on all but one.

Tough loss. Hang that one on the PK, and the backup.
Positive, Petey, Garland and DeBrusk looked like a top line.

Let’s remember that Lankinen was kept over Silovs not because he was necessarily a better back up option but because no one knew if or how Demko would bounce back. He was kept because he was seen as a better starter option. If there had been full confidence that Demko would be Demko then I think you see a different path, for cap reasons alone. Plus, Silovs didn’t exactly play well for the Canucks last year when he did have a chance. Canucks made the right call.

Definitely not on Lankinen though.

I'd say the last two goals, a better goalkeeper would have stopped.Mëds wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 6:57 pmThe second half of that is true.JelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 6:50 pm Tough loss. Hang that one on the PK, and the backup.

Montreal did their rebuild properly. Had a few hiccups but over all is ahead of the Canucks overall. Quicker puck movement was a big difference.
Was good to see EP have a strong night.
Too many AHL level players on the team.
