Original line up last night indicated in and then it was suggested he was out.

Who sits in his stead Megs?
He was in both nights Don. Sasson and Kudryavtsev appear to be the best players on the team by a comfortable margin. I thought they both deserved a
roster spot in camp.

Should have watched this one.

:look:

Nice start to the season.

Interesting power play discrepancy.

So Vitali is invisible then Megs?

What a potential waste of talent if so.

I imagine if the big club can't score Sasson will get called up sooner than later.

Sasson/Hoglander > Cootes/Bains.

For now anyway.

Vitali hasn't looked bad, Donny. He just hasn't made an impact yet. He looks like a decent player at this level.

Kudryavtsev, though, has made tremendous strides, he's a force on every shift. He controls the game with the puck on his stick.

Someone tell me why he isn't on the big team roster out of camp. PO Joseph?

Where do you see him playing at show level Megs?

In Forberts place?

Big EP?

He needs ice no?

A la Mancini.

Good to hear Vitali is showing up in a tough league to play in.

It's a fair point Donny, they do have to play. There's no rush.

However, I would say that Sasson deserved Cootes' spot coming out of camp. That was plumb unfair imvho.

Since Cootes' ceiling is higher than Sasson's I'd say it pays to give him 9 games to whet his appetite. Sasson can get on the roster after he gets sent down, which will be soon enough, no?

Yes, agree.

And would presume that's the plan.

(...or they really don't like Sasson beyond AHL level and are waiting on Bleuger's health....)

Unless Cootes were to thrive in an abnormal or unexpected fashion (unlikely) which makes Sasson solid depth in that scenario.

Max is on a 1 way either way at similar value (200K lower I think) to Cootes entry level so unless we are in cap hell the money is a veritable wash.

Megs - who would say is our #1 goalie down there this year (at this point)?

Tolopilo, but this is the third different goalie consecutively tonight, with Ty Young in between the pipes.

They're carrying four at the moment.

Hopefully for the right reasons ;) Let's hope one or two of them stick.

Xhekaj set up Davidson for a late Laval power play goal. 1-0 Laval at the period break.
