Yeah I’ve seen the side by side analysis of the real time and doctored footage. kinda like trying to see an off side on an instant replay.

But I’m not that offended even if it was a karate chop. Media scrums have their uses for both sides.

Sure, Acosta seems a bit rude, but he's a journalist. What else is he supposed to when a politician keeps evading his questions? Back off and say "Sorry I bothered you, sir. Thanks for your time."?

The journalists are there to keep the politicians honest and the public informed.

When I did a few work trips there looking at projects in the 90's, one farmer in rural Santa Clara said "you kick over a rock in Cuba and you'll find an engineer". Yeah, I travelled with one of the county's top geologist, he and his wife, a doctor, each made $10/month. I brought a suitcase of frozen meat with me and dropped it off at his office for his staff to share so he invited me to his house for dinner. While we were eating, there was a knock on the door and he was given a small package of vitamins. Malnutrition was running rampant because stores couldn't stock enough goods to fulfil the ration books so the government was giving out vitamins.
