I think there’s a decent argument for Price.

World class numbers.
Olympic Gold.
Vezina.
Jennings.
Hart.
Lindsay.
Masterson.

Rinne, not so much.

World class numbers.
Vézina.
Masterson.

One of these things is not like the other.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

I know it's not a measurable stat or criteria, but, when you ask yourself "Who would I want in <insert big game>?" Rinne's name doesn't even come up as being one of the best among the peers he was playing with, where Price's name is in the conversation with the best of all time (I'm not saying he's the best, but he deserves the mention). If you are not concidered among the very best during your era, why are you on the list for the HHOF? Rinne was good, but not HHOF good. Heck, I'd put Tiger in way before Rinne.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

You have to be a good hockey player to be in the HHOF.

I like to use the great Dickie Duff as my measuring stick for whether or not player belongs in it Carl.

Hmm. Was he as good as Duff?

I just listened to a 17:34 media scrum Johnson held so you don't have to. He said nothing.

He seems to be learning quickly.

It may not be measurable as a stat, but the validity of the question itself is also immeasurable.

Not news, just a rumour. But we haven't heard much about the coaching staff yet.

Another AHL coach - hopefully we bring in some NHL coaches.

We are not an NHL team.

How apropos. Our senior mgmt and coaching staff have no NHL experience.

It probably wouldn't hurt to round out the staff with a Claude Julien type, thought that might not fit Mr Aquilini's budget concerns.

I’m thinking they’re drafting Malhotra and the Ruck twins and hiring Willie D as Manny’s assistant coach.
