Troy from Richmond is saying he loved the direction the Canucks are moving, and would totally come back and play here!
I am super excited he is trolling for a job!!!!

Wow. He wants to play for the 32nd best team in the league. Benning must have seen a glimmer of intelligence in Troy, cuz Troy knows that Troy is a #6 defender on the 33rd best team in the league. I see this as a pass/fail for RyJo. If he doesn't pass on this incredible offer from Troy, it's a fail.Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2026 10:43 am Troy from Richmond is saying he loved the direction the Canucks are moving, and would totally come back and play here!

I wonder if they wisely let Willander start in Abby then earn his ticket up the ladder...he wasn't ready last year

Stecher is ok. He is a smart player, great pro and battles hard, but he was always too small for my liking. The only reason that I kinda liked was cuz he was a local guy. Honestly, I'd take Juulsen or K.Burroughs over himMadcombinepilot wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2026 10:43 am Troy from Richmond is saying he loved the direction the Canucks are moving, and would totally come back and play here!

I wouldn't mind getting this guy though to play as our 6th-7th D-man. Great vet and plays a heavy, hard nosed game. I think he'd a great leadership guy to help some of our young guys. Him or I.Cole.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26
Yeah, I would take Schenn over Stretch too.

Perfect veteran presence for the room, even if he doesn't play many games.

We could probably trade him for a 3rd at the TDD

Yah, those are the type of guys the Nucks should target. Guys who had a bad yr and/or are a little older, but they have a good chance to rebound, so we can flip them for picks @ TDD.
