Son's race season is on hold, wife and kid were planning on Belize in July for a long overdue visit to father and grandfather, that is unlikely now.
I'm losing fieldwork as this goes on, I work from a home office so not too inconvenienced that way but not much work coming in. Plenty of road hockey, basketball and bike training with the kid.
Wife has worked 32 0f the last 48 hrs and spent 8 hours somewhere in the middle driving someone to/from a doctor's appointment 150km away. Don't underestimate what those in healthcare are doing these days.

I'm glad I'm retired during this pandemic. Haven't left my property in 12 days now. My son lives just down the road from us - he is a paramedic, so I don't think we will see him close up for a while.

Oh the bitch fests.
Our meter reader is no longer bitching about RF wireless meters (I blame Marconi) and is now whining about having to go to houses that may have infected residents. Last week he had no problem Cat skiing with his kid.
Teachers in Washington last week bitching about how personally, emotionally draining it is knowing the effect of school closures on poor single parent kids who will now be home alone or on the streets. Same teachers are now bitching about having to come to school to help with the continuing school meal programs.
