Oops, okay.

Yes, I would be fine with trading the 2020 pick, lottery protected...
So how would that work? If it’s in the top 15 it ends up being the 2021 pick? I’m just not sure there’s a young d man out there other than Trouba and he would have to be signed to an extension to make it worth it.
Wasn't Dickie talking about trading the 2020 1st for a top young dman?
He said top 4 rh guy. I’d want a potential top pairing guy for a pick that will be in the top 1/2 of the draft. Trouba would be ok but I doubt he extend here. Don’t see anyone else available

Right, and then you said "It would have to be a younger guy"

... and that is what I agreed with.

I also agreed with you that Jimmy likely won't trade the 2019 1st in a fair deal.

But that I'd be fine with trading the 2020 pick (lottery protected) in a fair deal.

Anyway, blah blah blah blah...

Blob should be fine with it too. He was OK with his team trading a lottery pick (not protected) and two 2nd round picks for Stud Hamonic
I was? I said it was a steep price. I guess that means I liked it? If you’re going to lie at least be creative. Anyone can go through the archives to see that you are full of shit.
You were OK with it. You considered Hamonic to be a stud.

You’ve never called Hamonic a stud? A stud  too much. You weren’t screaming bloody murder over the trade. You thought the stud was a good acquisition for your Flames

I got this one...

Blob Mckenzie wrote: Sun Aug 21, 2011 12:17 pm Imagine if Gillis had taken Myers and Hamonic instead of Sauve and Hodgson.
Blob Mckenzie wrote: Fri Aug 24, 2012 4:19 pm Pacific Blue... I like Tanev but he sure as fuck aint no rising star. Pietrangelo, Doughty, Karlsson, Schultz, Gardiner, Hamonic etc... they have a shitload more potential than Tanev.
Blob Mckenzie wrote: Sun Aug 26, 2012 7:27 pm Hamonic will be a stud.
Blob Mckenzie wrote: Wed Nov 18, 2015 7:55 pm If you don't want to move Tanev or Horvat / McCann /Virtanen be prepared to cough up a package of Hutton+ Demko. Not really worth it is it ? And I like Hamonic . We don't have the pieces to make the trade .

If I'm the Coilers I offer up Yakupov or Eberle . It's a hell of a lot more than Vancouver could reasonably offer .
Blob Mckenzie wrote: Fri Nov 20, 2015 10:30 pm mix in a Hamonic and a Keith/ Doughty and maybe a Josi and we are fucking set right buds?
Blob Mckenzie wrote: Fri Feb 19, 2016 7:04 pm I agree with a good chunk of your post Rikster even dealing Tanev for Hamonic if it was one for one
Blob Mckenzie wrote: Sat Jun 24, 2017 8:09 am I think Tanev is a better player but Hamonic is definitely a solid defenceman. That is a hell of a top 4 in Calgary

And there’s a half dozen posts where I said the price was too steep or too much. But I guess you can’t find those

Regardless of your denials Blob, the Canucks will not be in contention for Raymond or Holtz in 2020

Regardless of the fact that you posted several times the price for Hamonic was too steep Blob, I’d rather lie because it suits my narrative

His first few years he was trending to be a stud.

It’s all good Doc. I liked Hamonic when he came up, He was a legit top pairing guy for a couple years as a young player. Whether injuries and play style have caught up I’m not sure. He has regressed a bit but he’s still a legit 2nd pairing guy and he is making 3.8 million. I said several times that it was too steep a price to pay. Amazing nobody could find those posts

No problemo Blob, it's just you asked about when you ever referred to Hamonic as a stud.

I'm not going to be an asshole here and point out the time The Guds made him his bitch...
