leaves with only two wins in their last eight games.

The leaves do not require more building. The vast majority of their core is set. You can't say "Whatever", my comments were clearly in regards to the situation in 2014 which involved Luongo when the leaves had no core and a bottom 5 prospect pool.Strangelove wrote:.
Whatever Mr Fish, fact is one year ago you said:

Fact is your Leaves have a lot of "building" still needs be done.
Fact is making the playoffs this year would screw up the Leaves rebuild.
Fact is you are insane if you think the Leaves don't require more "building".
But hey, hopefully the Shanaplanners agree with you.

So what young teams are better positioned than the leaves right now?RoyalDude wrote:2 wins in their last 8. LOL
leaves goaltending getting slagged quite a bit. Are you smelling the coffee yet, Tuna?
Your D and your goaltending is bush league.
Ahhhhhgain Tuna, nobody gives a flying fuck about your prospects beyond Matthews, Marner and I suppose Nylander. Enough already. Holy hell are you dense
Stop comparing dicks, Tuna and worry about your own. You're inferiority complex is amazingBigTuna wrote:So what young teams are better positioned than the leaves right now?RoyalDude wrote:2 wins in their last 8. LOL

Yeah and we beat them worse last time. You really think they're better? The media in Buffalo does not agree:Uncle dans leg wrote:Seeing how the sabres just handed you guys your lunch...BigTuna wrote:

I understand. you cannot name a team in a better position.RoyalDude wrote:Stop comparing dicks, Tuna and worry about your own. You're inferiority complex is amazingBigTuna wrote:So what young teams are better positioned than the leaves right now?RoyalDude wrote:2 wins in their last 8. LOL

Well, since I only recognize Matthews, Marner and Nylander (I suppose) as decent young hockey players it would actually be quite easy coming up with teams whom have a better young "legitimate" core than the leaves, starting with the team that spanked the leaves in their own barn tonight. Eichel, Reinhart, Ristolainen, Nylander, Pu, etcBigTuna wrote:I understand. you cannot name a team in a better position.RoyalDude wrote:Stop comparing dicks, Tuna and worry about your own. ... and if we can't count any of the Leaves players currently with the big club
... then the Leaves once again have a "bottom 5 prospect pool"!
Leaves were among the top teams in terms of "prospect pools" when these guys were "prospects"
... but you're telling me they're not "prospects" any longer.
So, according to YOU, back to the basement with the Leaves as far as "prospect pools".![]()

Mr Shanahan says the rebuilding is ongoing, get with the Shanaplan!
No Goalie of the Future and no defencemen who can actually play defence.
2 of your top 5 scoring forwards are UFAs in 1.3 years.
And as discussed, your "rookie" top scoring defenceman could become a Group 6 UFA this summer.
Leaves prospects are as dim as you are my friend and Spanky + the Rascals have hit the Rookie Wall.
After this year, you have a two year grace period. When his entry level is up. Mathews will be following his dream and no matter what it takes, will see to it he plays in a US city. "Bank on it"!BigTuna wrote:Strangelove wrote:BigTuna wrote: The leaves do not require more building.

Rookies are considered "Prospects" until they complete 1 full NHL season.
leaves are not bottom 5 in prospects at all. Even when the big 3 are gone from the list they'll be middle of the pack in rankings.
All the issues you mentioned are faced by other young teams yet you don't mention them. Evander Kane will be UFA after next season.
And LOL @ trying to spin losing Tyler Bozak as a negative. He is NOT one of the leaves top 5 forwards at all. Bozak's a bottom 6 forward on this leaves team. I guess you somehow think he's better than Kadri?

You poor Canuck fans. If only Loui Eriksson would demand a trade (Of course no one will ever take himBigTuna wrote:Matthews isn't UFA in 2 years. So your claim is, he is so unhappy in Toronto he will demand a trade? LOL. Maybe he'll go home to Arizona. That makes sense. Too bad the arena deal fell through and the team is looking to move to Seattle.
