I would support the idea of Pauser starting a new tank thread for the round of 24 play-in series vs Minnesota. The Canucks can get back into the draft lottery if they lose and theoretically it could hurt Benning's standing in the organization as well so the same rationale for a tank thread in the regular season would still apply this series. I think it would be hard for the mods to deny this time since they have endorsed the same argument for the past several years in regular season play.

And it could become really popular too, imagine if the Minnesota fans were invited to participate, they could even get a thing going on back and forth where they posted in each other's series threads and gave both forums a boost. Heck, it could even become a tradition in following years during the regular season where both fan bases get together to root for the Wild. I'm curious to see how they decide to handle the situation.
