Here comes the patented Andersson we all saw in Anaheim, choking in the mean something part of the year as usual
I see the Toronto media can't trade Nylander soon enough. Where there is smoke there is fire
Lou "we are desperate for help on defence but the price is too high
leaves farm team coach "they are yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaarsss away!" Regarding leaves best D prospects. Not good
Hey Tuna! Take a look at our D and Goalie future! Done! On to forwards now, the easiest position yo fix
Two words, Tuna. You listening? Adam Gaudette

Lol goaltending and defence are done.
Jesus Christ. Demko isn't even a starter in the AHL and Wiwie and Elmer don't trust Markstrom. Stetcher who I like looks overmatched quite often, Brisebois couldn't make one of the weakest Canadian squads in years and Juolevi like he's a few years away. Hutton has taken a step back and Gudbranson looks like a very limited 4/5 guy.

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread
Myers, Chabot, Lauzon, Fabbro, Clague, Juulsen and Bean was weak? Blobby, defence was our strong point. Goaltending and forwards were not. plus the packed left side d was a battle Brisebios wasn't going to win
Brisebios and Juolevi have been excellent since the WJC's btw. So rookies Stecher and Tryamkin futures don't look bright now???? Holy hell man are you hungover?
Bubbles have some bubbly hair if the dawg cheer, ya need it. The Eeyore thing is not looking good on ya
Booze you do realize that Demko has been sick as a dog for awhile now eh? Missed a bunch of games and has been back up while he gets his strength back. My gawd man do your research. Next thing ya know he is slagging Boeser for having wrist surgery during the season

In what world is getting a franchise #1 Centre the easiest thing to fix?RoyalDude wrote:Here comes the patented Andersson we all saw in Anaheim, choking in the mean something part of the year as usual

Getting a goalie is the easiest thing to fix. You don't need a top 10 goalie to win a cup. And Andersen is anyways. The best goalies in the NHL have 0 cup wins.

Tuna the first part of your post is correct. Saying Anderson is a top 10 goalie is asinine however.

Leaves claim Marchenko off waivers. Leaves waive Corrado.
Marchenko meets the requirements for exposing a D so leaves have that covered now in Marchenko. Poor Frankie, dicked around by the cock for over a year just to be waived in the end. So much for great development but the leaves.

You certainly need your goalie to play like a top-10 goalie to win a cup.BigTuna wrote: You don't need a top 10 goalie to win a cup. And Andersen is anyways.
But in what fucking world is Andersen top-10? He's 22nd in Save%. He's 27th in GAA.
Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread
Wont happen, but I bet TG would love to have Frankie around again.

So teams like Philadelphia, Winnipeg, Detroit, Calgary and Dallas must be masochists enjoying supreme shitty goaltending, cause if it's so easy to fix why haven't they done something about it? Or are they Martyrs?BigTuna wrote:In what world is getting a franchise #1 Centre the easiest thing to fix?RoyalDude wrote:Here comes the patented Andersson we all saw in Anaheim, choking in the mean something part of the year as usual

How is this trade? Canuck prospect - Brisebios for William Nylander?

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread
There are backup goalies like martin jones who are acquired and the n help a team like San Jose finally get to the finals. Philly has been inept for 30 years with goalies.RoyalDude wrote:So teams like Philadelphia, Winnipeg, Detroit, Calgary and Dallas must be masochists enjoying supreme shitty goaltending, cause if it's so easy to fix why haven't they done something about it? Even Edmonton was able to find a good starter for cheap who was a backup and now they're going to make the playoffs.
Goaltending is not hard to find. You do not need a Carey Price level goalie to win a cup (He's never been to the finals). The top goalies don't have cup rings.
Finding a #1 centre? Good luck with that. They never make it to UFA and are so rarely even available in a trade. You have to draft one, and that involves luck. Goalie don't cost a lot in trades.

11 points by Leaf rookies. 11!
They beat Boston in regulation. 1 point out of the playoffs with 5 games in hand.
"Bust" Marner takes over the rookie scoring lead.
