Just as valuable to his team is a way to say he's not as good. And that is the problem with comparing guys to Brown and Zaitsev. They can be supporting pieces. The Canucks lack the elite pieces right now to ever contend. Matthews can be a top 5 NHL player for the next decade. Him and Matthews can be the next big 1-2 offensive punch on any NHL team.

You can't really say anything for sure about Andersen until at least the end of this season.

It isn't basketball. Toews has had an amazing supporting cast. He makes 10.5 million and isn't even on pace for 50 points. Ridiculous. Matthews is going to break Toews' career high for points in his rookie season.

Tonight Andersen let in another 5 goals... season sv% .917 now.
