And a career like Juulsen's is not too shabby.
Point taken Blob.
It’s a teeny tiny country, but they started playing hockey before russia did. After they were annexed by the Soviet Union Dinamo Riga was one of the best teams in the Soviet league. After they were annexed Soviet Union broke up they continued to play in the KHL and formed the backbone of the Latvian national team. Since the russians started their illegal invasion of Ukraine both Dinamo Riga and the Finnish team Jokerit withdrew from the league in protest. Jokerit had to start over in the Finnish second tier league but is likely to get promoted to the Finnish SM-Liiga next year. Sadly Dinamo Riga has now folded after playing one season in a local Latvian league. The league they have now in Latvia is of questionable quality, but many of their juniors play abroad. If you look at the current squad there are players playing in Sweden, Finland, Czechia, Switzerland, Germany, Canada and the USA. They take a lot of pride in their national team, so I hope they can keep it going. It would have been nice if either Finland or Sweden had opened up a slot for Dinamo Riga, but that did not happen.Megaterio Llamas wrote: ↑Sat Dec 27, 2025 2:37 pm Jeezus, Latvia is smaller than Vancouver. How is that a country?

Beaudoin works hard, no issues with Hage’s game and drive, same with Iginla. McKenna is just watching out there. Martone needs to move his feet, way to stationary. Misa is fighting the puck. Martin is kind of a nothing player, don’t notice him. Reschny is more noticeable today.Megaterio Llamas wrote: ↑Sat Dec 27, 2025 3:47 pm I have liked the work og Mighael Hage so far.
Cole Beaudoin seems like a handy player too.
