I'm also wondering what the scouting staff is going to look like. Are we looking at a skeleton crew?

This is beginning to remind me of the Muckler's Dirty Dozen era.

Read this morning an alleged claim that the alleged low ball offers are allegedly being made in Canadian dollars.

Pretty weak if true.

Lets see what their player contract offers are like. If they start lowballing our youngsters that we think we want to build around then I worry.

You dont worry about an ownership group allegedly low balling Management and Coaching potential hires in both value and alleged non-standard/league wide expected & accepted currency?

I would....

...as an aside I think I heard the Ranger coach they (allegedly) low balled hired on in Colorado.

...and the rich get richer.

Edit...and yeah...'tis ture.

Attaway to get your man (allegedly) boyz!!!

Stole this from that other Canuck's message board:
The Vancouver Canucks are implementing eight jersey number changes for the 2026-27 season. This includes fresh assignments for recent free-agent signings as well as internal swaps for established roster players.

Current Player Swaps
Four players already on the roster are changing numbers: [1]

Zeev Buium: Switched from 24 to 8 (the number he wore in Minnesota before the trade).
Marco Rossi: Switched from 93 to 23 (taking back his preferred number).
Jonathan Lekkerimäki: Switched from 23 to 88 (vacating the 23 for Rossi).
Filip Chytil: Moved from 72 to 77. [1, 2]

New Acquisitions
Incoming veterans are adjusting to new numbers with Vancouver: [1]

Brendan Gallagher: Wears 7 (switched from 11).
Jamie Oleksiak: Wears 4.
Luke Schenn: Wears 2.
Paul Cotter: Wears 47

The Canucks have hired Adam Sergerie as a pro scout.
Canucks hire Penticton Vees director of scouting Adam Sergerie as a pro scout

It's a quick rise for Adam Sergerie, who only spent one season with the Penticton Vees and after four campaigns as GM of the Sherwood Park Crusaders, an Alberta Junior A team.

No one has ever seen cost cutting like this before.

Mr Aquilini is having the time of his life.
